Overview

The liquid flow standard device is widely used in the experiment and verification device of liquid flowmeter, especially for flowmeter manufacturers, there are a large number of instrument verification and product development experiments, and a set of efficient and reliable liquid flow standard device is made for them.


In industrial applications, flow standard devices must not only have sufficient accuracy and reliability, but also have high verification efficiency. Factors such as the construction cost of the equipment, the operating cost and the technical requirements of the operator must also be considered.


Traditional liquid flow standard devices are mostly based on mass and volumetric methods. The flow source relies on the pump to provide flow, but the flow is pulsating, the flow stability is poor, and the flow point adjustment is not accurate. However, with the rapid development of flow measurement and testing technology, these devices can no longer meet the requirements well.


In order to meet the requirements of liquid flow meter verification, calibration, factory inspection and the development trend of new flow meter production, our company has designed and manufactured an active piston type liquid flow standard device with water as the medium. The standard unit is uniquely designed and its basic working principle is to compare the volume flow of fluid expelled by the piston with the volume flow of the flowmeter under test over a certain time interval.


The volume of fluid discharged by the piston is obtained by multiplying the cross-sectional area of the piston cylinder and the displacement of the piston. Driven by a servo motor to reduce disturbance to the fluid flow. It has many advantages such as stability and reliability, good repeatability, high degree of automation, and simple operation. It avoids the disadvantages of the start-stop effect or the commutator effect of traditional liquid flow standard devices. Helps to improve the level of measurement uncertainty.


The device also has the characteristics of self-contained, compact structure, high efficiency and energy saving, no need to build a pool, no need to put forward special structural requirements for buildings, etc. It is very suitable for small flowmeters for production testing and product development testing.
