The principle and application of electromagnetic flowmeter
The electromagnetic flowmeter contains a converter and a sensor, which together measure the flow rate. Electromagnetic flowmeters are divided into two types, one-piece type and split type. The converter of the integrated electromagnetic flowmeter is directly connected to the sensor, while the split type is connected by a signal line.
Integrated electromagnetic flowmeter:
The sensor and converter are assembled together and installed on the pipeline. The electrical wiring is simple and the price is relatively cheap.
Split electromagnetic flowmeter:
The sensor is installed on the pipeline, and the converter is installed in the instrument room or around the sensor. The split type is more resistant to high temperature than the integrated type, and the price is slightly more expensive.
Electromagnetic flowmeters are often used in water supply and drainage engineering and used to measure the flow of industrial pipelines. It can also be used in places with high requirements for difficult-to-measure flow such as liquid and gaseous media.
