Product - working principle

The ultrasonic water meter uses the calculation formula to obtain the amount of water flowing through the water meter per unit time by collecting sound waves to calculate the flow rate of the water to obtain the cumulative flow of water. And it can also transmit data remotely through the M-BUS. If the installation location is not easy to wire, you can also use LoRa wireless or NB-IoT wireless ultrasonic water meters for wireless data collection.


Due to the unique structure of the ultrasonic water meter, the pipeline must be filled with water when installing the water meter. If there are air bubbles in the pipe section, it may affect the metering of the water meter. When installing the ultrasonic water meter, it is better to choose horizontal installation or vertical installation.

Notices for Installation

★ Flush pipes before installation to avoid gravels and other foreign objects;

★ Install a valve and filter before the water meter;

★ Do not touch the electrical part or pull wires to avoid damage during installation;

★ When the water meter is installed in a horizontal or inclined way, the ultrasonic flow probe on pipes shall be placed

horizontally, and when installed in a vertical way, make sure the water flows from down to up.

★ Please note that the arrow direction on the pipe shall be consistent with the water flow direction during installation;

★The joint washer shall be installed correctly to avoid misaligned washer blocking water and affecting accuracy of the water meter;

★ The water meter shall not be installed at the place that may be affected by strong mechanical vibrations.
